SMC is honored to have received three Nappie Awards this year! We were voted Best Overall Hospital in the Lagniappe’s 2024 Nappie Awards by the publication’s readers. We also took home the Nappie for Best Place to Have a Baby for the fifth year running! The Birthing Suites added to its awards with the Super Nurse Nappie going to Ashlee Norris, also a multi-year winner!
“We already know how hard you work and the quality efforts you put forth to care for our patients,” said SMC President/CEO Mr. Jeff St. Clair. “We are grateful that the community has recognized the excellent care you provide, as well!”
Representatives from SMC were on site for the Awards Reception in July where each Nappie was introduced via video. The Birthing Suites video reflected the Nappie’s 2024 Circus theme. The hospital was featured in two videos during the reception – one to announce the Best Overall Hospital award winner and one that introduced the entire Health & Medical category via a sponsorship.
