Springhill Medical Center is proud to sponsor the Serve It Up With Love Tennis Tournament, Alabama's premier USTA-sanctioned charity tennis event, acclaimed with the USTA Alabama Charity Event of the Year Award in 2012 and 2021. The tournament showcases men's, women's, and junior competitions over two exciting days. Our support contributes to the significant funds raised for the Mobile Child Advocacy Center, assisting in their mission to offer comprehensive services to sexually and/or physically abused children and their families.
Join us for the largest USTA-sanctioned charity tennis tournament in Alabama! This prestigious event has won the USTA Alabama Charity Event of the Year Award in 2012 and 2021. Featuring men's, women's, and junior tournaments, it's a two-day celebration of tennis.
Tournament Schedule:
- Mixed Doubles: Sunday, April 7 at 5 p.m.
- Al Fuchs Memorial Junior Championship: Sunday, April 7 at 2 p.m.
- Women's: Tuesday, April 9 at 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.
- Men's: Tuesday, April 9 at 6 p.m.
Purpose:
This tournament raises critical funds for the Mobile Child Advocacy Center. Over the past fifteen years, it has generated $1,324,266 in net proceeds for this remarkable organization. As the largest fundraiser for the Child Advocacy Center, it consistently raises **90,000 - $100,000 annually. The center's mission is to provide comprehensive services in one central location for sexually and/or physically abused children and their non-offending family members, facilitating their healing process.
